2008 - Business grows in a sustained manner in France while the first foreign acquisitions accelerate SII’s international expansion :

  • SII Morocco is formed as an off-shore entity
  • Acquisition of Switzerland’s Coris Group
  • Acquisition of the Concatel Group in Spain

2009- An economic recession causes worldwide turmoil. Although SII is affected by it, the Group's structure enables it to continue operating steadily for the duration of the crisis.

2010/2011 - Demand picks up again in early 2010, and international expansion resumes :

  • Acquisition of AIDA Development in Germany
  • Opening of a subsidiary in Chile to bolster SII’s market position in South America

2011 to 2013- Despite the return of difficult economic conditions and a sharp slowdown in business investment, SII is adapting and preparing for the future. Internationally, the Group is still growing and conquering new markets; it made two acquisitions in 2011-2012 (Uniway in Belgium and Oevo in Lyon, France) and created a subsidiary in Bangalore, India in January 2013.

2013 to 2015- The gap widens between French and foreign operations
There has been a continued economic slowdown and decline in business investment in France. Revenue at SII fell for two consecutive years for the first time in the company’s history.

The offsetting growth in international operations has proved durable and validates the Group’s expansion strategy:
• New acquisition in Germany, amalgamated into existing operations,
• New subsidiary in the Netherlands,
• Acquisition in Colombia,
• Start-up of a business in Canada.

Today - SII operates from 54 locations in France and throughout the world.
